Sacred Steps: Unveiling Muslim Heritage in Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia

Dates: April 07 – April 16

Day 01

07 April, Monday: Arrival in Tirana, Albania

4:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Arrival,  Meeting at the Airport, purchase SIM Cards and Transportation to Hotel

Stay in Tirana (01)

Day 02

08 April, Tuesday: Tirana (Albania)

Morning: Heritage tour at Tirana Square & pray Dhuhr at Et’hem Bej Mosque

Afternoon: Continue exploring WW2 Bunker Museum BANK’ART and Explore Dajti Mountain, Cable car

Total Journey time: 1 hour 30 min (30km)

Day 03

09 April, Wednesday: Elbasan (Albania) and Korça (Albania)

Morning: Travel to Elbasan: (40 min, 40 km) 

visit Castle, The Bridge of Kamara, Kings Mosque and Hammam

Afternoon: Llixhat e Elbasanit, The natural hot springs

Evening: Travel to korça (2 hours 30 min, 135km)

Total Journey time: 3 hours 10 min (175 km)

Day 04

10April, Thursday:  Korça and Lin/Pogradec

Morning: Ski resort and winter sports

Afternoon: Continue Ski resort and if possible visit RAW HONEY production by the locals

Travel to Lake Ohrid: Lin/Pogradec

11 April, Friday:  Lin (Albania) and Tetovo (Macedonia)

Morning: Explore Pogradec and Lin 

Afternoon: Travel to Macedonia

12 April, Saturday:  Tetovo (Macedonia) and Skopje (Macedonia)

Morning: Visit Arabati Baba Tekke and the Šarena Mosque (The Painted Mosque)

Afternoon: Explore Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, historic stone Bridge, Bazar, war monuments and Alexander the great

13 April, Sunday:  Skopje (Macedonia) and Pristina (Kosovo)

Morning: Travel to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo and explore Gadime Cave, Kosovo Afternoon: Visit Tyrbja e Sulltan Muratit 1 and the NEWBORN in Pristina
